Frequently asked questions
Go to the help centerWhen should I install my eSIM?
We recommend installing it before you leave, while you have a stable Wi-Fi connection — installation needs internet. You can then turn the eSIM line on when you arrive.
Do I need to turn on data roaming?
Yes — turn on data roaming for the TechSpere eSIM line only. Your eSIM works as a roaming line abroad, and this does not cost you anything extra. Keep roaming off on your usual SIM to avoid charges from your home operator.
When does my plan start?
For most plans, the validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination — not at the time of purchase. The exact rule is shown on each plan before you buy.
The QR code does not work
- Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi.
- Scan the code from another screen (a computer), not from the same phone.
- Use the manual installation details shown in My eSIMs.
Important: a QR code can usually be installed only once. Do not delete the eSIM after installing it.
